2026 Workshops Line-up

From designing sustainable spaces with AI to stepping into the role of a cybersecurity leader, this year’s workshops invite you to explore how STEM is shaping the world around us right now.

Across architecture, artificial intelligence, and digital security, participants will dive into real-world challenges through hands-on activities, collaborative problem-solving, and creative experimentation. Whether you’re visualising future environments, decoding cyber threats, or learning how to work alongside AI tools, each workshop offers a glimpse into the skills and thinking that power today’s most exciting industries.

How to sign up?

Each female student is allowed to attend one workshop of the festival. In your registration form, indicate your preference of workshop, and we'll try our best to accommodate them! Don't miss this opportunity to engage with experts and expand your horizons!

WORKSHOP W01

Small Design, Big Impact

In this interactive workshop, students will rethink a real space, explore simple sustainability strategies, and use AI to visualise their ideas—experiencing how architects and designers turn concepts into impactful environments and spaces.

Learning Objectives:

Understand how small design decisions can positively impact people and the environment by rethinking and redesigning a real-world space.
Explore and apply basic sustainability strategies—such as daylighting, material choices, or space optimisation—to improve the performance and experience of a place.

Cyber Escape Quest: Spot the Scam, Secure the Account

A cyber escape quest where teams tackle interactive challenges in phishing, password security, and social engineering. Participants will explore cybersecurity fundamentals, learn about Visa’s role in the digital ecosystem, and examine real-world cyber threats through engaging activities like decoding messages, spotting phishing attempts, and cracking simple ciphers.

Learning Objectives:

Understand Visa’s four-party model, the payment ecosystem, and the role of cybersecurity in protecting digital transactions
Build cyber awareness through cyber hygiene, digital security, and logical problem-solving
Develop teamwork skills while exploring careers in cybersecurity and IT governance

WORKSHOP W03

Micron AI Explorers Singapore

By Micron

Micron Team Members across various organizations who have been trained under AI Singapore TTT program will conduct an-hour long sharing of AI Literacy from the perspective of AI and AI tools introductions, Prompt Engineering techniques, Responsible AI use, and how to stay ahead in life with AI help.

Learning Objectives:

Gain foundational knowledge and confidence on core AI concepts and terminology, understanding the high-level knowledge of how AI systems operate and explore AI existence in our daily lives.
Acquire efficient AI tools interaction through guided activities such as prompt engineering.
Demonstrate how AI tools can be used responsibly in everyday life (learning, work, problem-solving and decision-making), and how to analyze AI-generated outputs for accuracy, relevance, and limitations.

Be a CISO for a Day!

Cybersecurity is quite complex, but with the help of a cyber-expert, you will learn how to role-play as a Chief Information Security Officer for a day!
Learn what it takes to build a cybersecurity team, the issues that cybersecurity teams face, especially when defending against unknown vulnerabilities!

Learning Objectives:

Learn the principles of cybersecurity.

Gain an appreciation for some technical ideas in cybersecurity.

Learn how cybersecurity inter-plays with other domains, such as engineering and business.

From Engines to AI: Powering the Digital World

Discover how AI and data centers are powered in the real-world. Students will explore Cummins’ role in the AI ecosystem through live sharing by our Application Engineering team and hands-on assembly of 3D engine models.

Learning Objectives:

Understand how power systems, such as engines and generators, support AI and data centers
Identify engine components and their functions through hands‑on interaction
Explore STEM and engineering career pathways in real-world applications.
