What To Expect
Ask Me Anything Booth:
A safe space for students to practice and receive feedback with bite-sized rounds of job interviews, resume feedback, and elevator pitches. Not sure what to ask our experts? No worries, we have you covered! This year, we are also introducing Decode the JD - a new activity where you will receive a real, anonymised STEM job description and work through it together with our consultants. You will learn to distinguish the genuine must-haves from the wishlist, spot the key competency language employers use, and map your existing skills directly to the role.
Professional Headshot Photobooth:
One can never over-emphasise the importance of first impressions. Here is a chance to get a professional photo taken for your LinkedIn or CV - refresh your profile photograph at our photobooth!
Career Vision Board Station:
Where do you see yourself going? At our self-serve Career Vision Board Station, you'll build your own mini career vision board on a postcard-sized card - using prompt cards spanning roles, values, skills, and goals - and take it home as a tangible reminder of your professional intentions. Whether you have a clear plan or are still exploring, this is your space to dream out loud and put it into writing.
